Is Kit Check free?
Yes. Kit Check is free to download and free for up to 3 lists, with every list feature included. Kit Check Pro is a one-off purchase inside the app that unlocks unlimited lists, reminders, more photos, PDF and CSV export, and full backups. There is no subscription.
Do I need an account or a phone signal?
No to both. There is no sign-up, and Kit Check works fully offline, so you can tick off your kit on a campsite, a hillside or a plane.
Can I make lists for my whole family?
Yes. Add the people and pets you're packing for, and each one gets their own section and their own progress, so you can see at a glance who's ready.
Do I have to start from scratch?
No. Choose a ready-made list for holidays, camping, family days out, work kit and more, then add, remove or change anything you like. Or start with a blank list and build your own.
Can I use the same list again?
Yes. When you're back home, use Reset for next trip to unpack everything in one go, ready for next time. If you reset by mistake, tap Undo.
What happens if I add the same item to several lists?
Every item lives once in your kit store. Change it there, for example its quantity or where it's kept, and every list it's on updates.
Which languages does it support?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Polish. The ready-made lists are translated too, not just the buttons.
What happens to my data?
Your lists, items and photos stay on your phone. Kit Check has no account, no analytics and no adverts, and it never sends your lists anywhere. Read the full Kit Check privacy policy.
Can I move my lists to a new phone?
Yes, with a backup file. Saving a backup is part of Kit Check Pro; restoring a backup is always free. On a new phone, Restore Purchase reactivates Pro with the same Google account.
Is there an iPhone version?
Kit Check is available for Android only, on Android 8.0 and later.
